Electromechanical steering amplifier (EMSA) is intended to reduce control force applied by a driver to a steering wheel, as well as to put driven wheels and the steering wheel back to a position corresponding to straight-line motion when control force isn't applied to a steering wheel.

EMSA being a module design built in a steering column consists of a power-generating unit (electric machine of synchronous type) and a controller.

Compared with foreign and national analogues, EMSA manufactured by OJSV "DAAZ" is more durable and safety - there is no tight coupling (gearing) with a steering column and amplifying effect is provided by magnetic field.

The design of this amplifier is the same for national market and export to the countries with temperate and tropic climate. The product was subjected to the entire cycle of testing at OJSV "AvtoVAZ" and recommended for being mounted on the cars. The amplifier was certified by NAMI-FOND (Automobile Components Certification Department) in Moscow.
